We cordially invite everyone interested in modern didactics to the jubilee 20th Virtual University Conference – VU’2020. The broad program of the Conference also includes presentations by the  PCG Academia experts.

For two decades, VU conferences have been building a platform for the exchange of knowledge on the use of information technologies in the teaching at universities. The event supports sharing of experiences in the use of various methods and tools in e-learning and a discussion on the perspectives of modern education.

The 20th VU Conference will be held on December 14-15, 2020 in the online formula. This year’s edition is organized by the the Distance Learning Center of the Warsaw University of Technology. The conference’s motto is “Internet as a space for education”.

The upcoming VU’2020 Conference will focus on the methods, techniques and tools of e-learning in the era of COVID-19 and the digital revolution in teaching, which immediately happened at universities. The discussions will be attended by practitioners from Poland and abroad, so participants will be able to get to know about e-learning experiences both from national institutions and universities from Germany, Italy, Belarus and Norway.

Among the speakers at the VU’2020 Conference will also be PCG Academia. On the first day of the Conference, December 14th, from 2:15 pm to 2:30pm, we invite you to the presentation “Effective distance examining using Inspera solutions – the experience of Kozminski University“, where we will share our experiences on one of the most difficult aspects of e-learning, i.e. verification of learning outcomes. Mrs Anna Pałyga, Head of the KU’s Education Innovation Center, will talk about how the Kozminski University uses the Inspera electronic examination system to manage electronic examinations, which have become remote exams since March 2020. Anna Warda-Ritzen, a consultant from PCG Academia, will show the latest Inspera solution, which enables proctoring for remote exams with the help of video monitoring of students and artificial intelligence.

On the second day of the Conference, on December 15th, from 9:45am to 10am, we recommend to watch the presentation “Data analytics in online learning based on Moodle using Intelliboard“, during which Paweł Morawski, a lecturer with extensive practical experience in the field of e-learning from the University of Social Sciences in Łódź and Anna Warda -Ritzen, a consultant from PCG Academia, will talk about how Intelliboard, based on data from Moodle, provides easy-to-read reports and analyzes showing the activity and progress of students registered in e-learning courses at the university.
