For two weeks in April PCG Academia run a workshop for Pacific Adventist University. We had pleasure to work with Ms. Daphne Artango – Academic Quality Assurance Manager and Ms. Martina Makarai – Assistant Registrar. Ms. Sue Robb – the owner of Southern Pacific Software Services accompanied the PAU team to work with us on integration of Uni10 SIS and Attache accounting system.

During the workshop our guests were able to learn advanced features of Uni10 and discuss deployment of further modules of the system (timetable, admission of candidates outside of National Selection System, students portal). With Ms. Robb we also managed to establish both logical framework and technical connection of Uni10-Attache integration.

An important part of the workshop was also a study visit to Kozminski University, were its COO Mr. Maciej Madziński showed an overall vision of using ICT in running a higher education institution. The workshop took place in our Warsaw and Rzeszów offices and was a great opportunity to our International team and many other employers to share experiences with our foreign customers.

The visit was summarised by our guests:

Ms. Robb: “I believe that we can make a great synergy that removes a lot of the manual roadblocks in the student/accounting systems.

Ms. Artango: “PAU now is a step ahead from all other higher learning institutions in PNG as we had the privilege of getting to know each programmer personally who are instrumentally in working behind the scenes to change the way we do business in the higher education (HE) sector in PNG.”
