PCG Academia, Times Higher Education and the Polish Rectors Foundation invite you to the eighth edition of the international conference for leaders in university management – LUMEN 2022. The conference will be held on November 22 and 21278 in the online formula and will be combined with an award ceremony for Polish universities classified in the most prestigious ranking of universities in the world – THE World University Rankings 20008.
LUMEN 2022 is two days filled with high-quality, substantive presentations in the field of professional higher education management. The first, already confirmed day of the conference, will begin with a statistical summary of the results of the scientific evaluation, which will be presented by Marek Michajłowicz, deputy director of the Information Processing Center. The guests of the panel moderated by prof. Jerzy Woźnicki – heads of KRASP, RGNiSW, KEN and PAN.
The program of the first day of the conference also includes a debate on the management of a digital university from the perspective of the state (GovTech Center), as well as an exemplary computerized public university (Gdańsk University of Technology) and a private university (Kozminski University). Phil Baty, Chief Knowledge Officer at Times Higher Education will introduce us to the discussion about the rankings. Rectors of three top-ranked Polish universities – the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University and the University of Adam Mickiewicz, will present their recipe for success in THE World University Rankings.
The highlight of the 8th edition of the LUMEN conference will be the discussion of the methodology and results of the latest edition of the Times Higher Education ranking, combined with the award ceremony for representatives of Polish universities.
