PCG Academia will implement a new version of the Scientific Repository and Journal Platform at Kozminski University based on DSpace 8
17 June 2025 2 min readingUnder the signed agreement, PCG Academia will implement the latest version of the DSpace 8 system at Kozminski University. The new platform will replace the three systems currently in use: the Scientific Repository, the Journal Platform, and the Monograph Service System. All data will be transferred to a single, integrated system, offering users a modern, intuitive, and responsive tool that is fully compliant with current technological standards.
About DSpace
DSpace enables the storage, organization, and sharing of scientific publications in accordance with the principles of open science. Its flexibility, scalability, and compatibility with global trends make it an ideal solution for dynamically developing universities such as ALK.
Thanks to the implementation of DSpace, the university’s scientific publications will be indexed in accordance with the highest standards, which will facilitate their search and ensure global access. This is a significant benefit for authors – increasing the citability and reach of their research – and for the institution, which gains prestige and meets the requirements of grantors.
The project, which involves the migration of three systems and the implementation of DSpace 8, will be completed in a record time of six weeks, in accordance with all guidelines for the implementation of this software.
