The spotlight of 8th LUMEN Conference, that was held on November 22-23, 2022, was the Awards Gala for the leaders of Polish universities ranked in THE World University Rankings 2023.

THE World University Rankings, provided by Times Higher Education – the absolute leader in higher education analytics, is the world’s most recognizable and prestigious international ranking of universities. In evaluating universities, THE uses vast criteria covering each of their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and internationalization.

In the latest edition of the ranking 34 universities from Poland are present. Compared to previous editions, there was an increase both in terms of the number of universities included and in terms of the positions the universities were placed.
