Experience and Achievements at PCG Academia

Mateusz Adamiak has been with PCG Academia for eight years. Until now, he served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the Project Management Office, Implementation, Customer Success, Finance, and Administration departments.

He brings over ten years of experience managing IT implementation and consulting teams delivering projects for the public sector. During his time at PCG Academia, he has successfully led numerous initiatives for higher education institutions and public organizations, combining business development with continuous organizational improvement.

His key achievements include:

  • establishing and defining the operating model of the Project Management Office (PMO),
  • implementing controlling systems and an internal document workflow platform,
  • developing project management standards and strengthening cooperation with the company’s key clients,
  • building high-performing teams responsible for project delivery and customer success.

Thanks to his leadership and commitment, PCG Academia has consistently strengthened its operational capabilities, improved the quality of project delivery, and reinforced its position as a trusted technology partner for higher education institutions and public sector organizations.

New Role and Strategic Priorities

As Vice President of the Management Board, Mateusz Adamiak will be responsible for co-leading the execution of PCG Academia’s growth strategy and further enhancing the company’s operational excellence. His focus will be on increasing organizational efficiency, developing processes that support project delivery, and strengthening collaboration with universities and business partners.

One of his key priorities will also be supporting the company’s continued growth through international expansion and the development of innovative solutions for higher education.

About Mateusz Adamiak

Mateusz Adamiak has been part of the PCG organization for 13 years, progressing from analytical and consulting roles through project and operations management to the position of General Director of PCG Academia.

Earlier in his career, he also gained valuable experience within the Public Consulting Group organization in the United States, where he participated in an international management development program and contributed to projects supporting the public education sector.

At PCG Academia, Mateusz has been responsible for the company’s organizational development, the establishment and professionalization of operational structures, and the management of key business areas, including the Project Management Office, implementation teams, customer success, finance, administration, and human resources.

Among his major accomplishments are the establishment of a formal PMO, the standardization of project management processes, the implementation of controlling mechanisms, and the optimization of internal information and document workflows. These initiatives have significantly improved project predictability, strengthened financial oversight, and further professionalized the company’s management practices.

In recent years, Mateusz has also played an active role in expanding PCG Academia’s position as an international technology provider for higher education and research institutions. He has supported the company’s growth strategy, the development of its product and service portfolio, and its international expansion. Under his operational leadership, PCG Academia has strengthened its presence in international markets, acquired new global customers, and developed strategic partnerships both in Poland and abroad.
