Spring is a time when the academic calendar quickly fills up with inspiring conferences.
In the coming months, we will be present at meetings devoted to artificial intelligence in education, university communication, scientific repositories, academic libraries, university administration, and e-learning.

The Big Migration – On the Road to the Next Generation of Scientific Repositories

One of the most important regional events for the scientific repository community in Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference focuses on large-scale migrations to DSpace 8 and 9, transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms, and the growing role of artificial intelligence and metadata interoperability.
The programme includes expert lectures, case studies, hands-on workshops and panel discussions on technical innovation and repository management strategies.
The Big Migration is also a space for building community and strengthening cooperation across institutions supporting open science and research visibility.

CRIS2026

CRIS2026 is an international conference dedicated to Current Research Information Systems and the future of research information management.
The 2026 edition, held under the theme “Transforming the role of CRIS in the context of artificial intelligence, open infrastructures, open-source software and research evaluation”, will explore how collaboration initiatives and working groups can strengthen interoperability and effective data sharing.

Open Repositories 2026 is the 21st edition of the leading international conference dedicated to open repositories, digital preservation and scholarly information management. This fully online event makes it possible to connect professionals from across the globe and exchange knowledge without borders.
The main theme – “Open to All? Repositories at the Intersection of People, Practice, and Emerging Technologies” – highlights how repositories bring together communities, workflows and new technologies to support open science and equitable access to knowledge.
PCG Academia will be present to discuss how repository technologies can strengthen collaboration, data preservation and global access to research outputs.

The LIBER Annual Conference is one of the most important international meetings for the European research library community.
The 2026 edition, held under the motto “The Power of Libraries in an Uncertain World”, focuses on the role of libraries in protecting values, supporting open science and integrating research information in a rapidly changing technological and geopolitical environment.
In addition to the main conference programme, participants can join workshops, LIBER working group meetings and networking events.
