Medical University of Gdańsk, one of the leading Polish universities, signed an agreement with PCG Academia to deliver license for a workflow system based on WEBCON BPS platform. As part of the adopted strategy, the University plans to gradually automate key business processes in the area of student and employee services, as well as to tightly integrate the WEBCON BPS platform with other systems operating at the University.

The Medical University of Gdańsk is one of the fastest growing public universities in Poland. Since 2019, the University belongs to the elite group of top 10 Polish universities awarded in the prestigious programme “Initiative of Excellence – Research University”.

The decision of the Medical University of Gdańsk to choose the WEBCON BPS platform as a tool for process automation strengthens WEBCON’s position in the leadership seat among providers of electronic documents workflow solutions for universities in Poland. PCG Academia, as a dedicated partner of WEBCON in the area of education, is currently conducting four active implementations of WEBCON BPS – for the War Studies University, Collegium Civitas, Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce and Pedagogical University of Krakow.

The fact that the WEBCON BPS platform is used by universities of different specificities and scale of operation confirms the great flexibility of this tool and the possibility to adapt it to the particular needs of an individual organization. In addition, thanks to WEBCON’s use of low-code technology, university employees are able to make many changes in the implemented workflows on their own – without knowledge of the programming languages or the need to contact the software provider.
