University of Lodz will use modern IT solution for managing academic career office offered by PCG Academia. The main goal of the system implementation is to better match the university’s teaching offer to the needs of the socio-economic environment in the region. In addition, the application will support the staff of the University’s Career Office in performing daily activities related to managing information about available jobs, courses and internships, as well as organizing events, conducting surveys and building relations with students and graduates.

PCG Alumni Success application i san integral part of Educloud, an ecosystem of IT solutions for universities, offered not only in the classical implementation model, but also in the form of a modern cloud service in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

One of the key functionalities of the system delivered by PCG Academia to the University of Lodz will be a platform that allows students and graduates to create individual profiles based on their competencies, skills and interests. Based on this information, the system will suggest the best-fitting job, internship and apprenticeship offers and enable enrollment in events that most closely match the student or graduate profile.

Employers, on the other side, will be able to efficiently post offers, communicate directly with students and graduates, and conduct the recruitment process in a completely digital form. Employers will also have the possibility to attractively present their company’s profile by adding all relevant information using an interactive creator.

Employees of the Careers Office at the University of Lodz will gain full access to information on candidates’ profiles with matching offers and their applications, as well as data on recruitments and applications. The system will also enable Careers Office employees to automatically generate documents in PDF format. Thanks to integration with the USOS student information system, the PCG Alumni Success will ensure that the presented data is consistent with the data stored in university systems.

Another integral part of the solution delivered by PCG Academia is the surveys module which allows to efficiently track the situation of graduates on the labor market and to survey any target audience. Together with the analysis module it will enable a number of unique functionalities such as a survey of employers in terms of the demand for competencies of graduates entering the labor market (verification of educational results) or evaluation of educational results achieved by interns.

The system supporting the work of the University’s Careers Office will be launched at the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year. As part of the cooperation, PCG will also provide services related to the development and maintenance of the system at the University to ensure its smooth and trouble-free operation.
