LIBER Annual Conference 2026

From July 1-3, 2026, the picturesque city of Trondheim, Norway, will host the 55th annual conference of LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries) — one of the most important international meetings of the academic library community. The conference is organized by NTNU University Library and brings together library directors, researchers, experts, and practitioners from across Europe and around the world.

This year’s edition is held under the slogan “The Power of Libraries in an Uncertain World.” It is an invitation to discuss the key role that research libraries play in protecting fundamental rights, values, and the integration of research information in a technologically, socially, and geopolitically changing world.

The event offers not only a substantive program, but also workshops, LIBER working group meetings, and accompanying events, enabling in-depth exchange of experiences and professional networking.

PCG Academia will be present at LIBER 2026! We cordially invite you to talk, share your experience, and discover together how modern research libraries can build institutional resilience, support open science, and contribute to the development of the knowledge ecosystem.
