2026 DSpace North American User Group Meeting

The 2026 DSpace North American User Group Meeting will take place September 28–30, 2026, in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). The event will be held at Harvard University’s Lamont Library, where users, administrators, developers, and experts working with the DSpace system will gather. The conference will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, present best practices, and discuss the future of open institutional repositories and the management of scholarly resources.

The event’s program focuses on the practical aspects of using the DSpace system and the challenges faced by institutions developing digital repositories. Participants will discuss, among other topics, new directions for the platform’s development, supporting research processes, increasing the visibility of scholarly output, and the use of modern technologies in scholarly information management.

PCG Academia will also be present at the conference. Our representative, Małgorzata Paszkowska, International Outreach Manager, will deliver a presentation titled “DSpace as a Living Repository: Integrating Low-Code Platforms to Drive Research Workflows.” The presentation will focus on the potential of using low-code platforms in the development of modern DSpace repositories and in streamlining processes related to information management and research activities.

Participating in the 2026 DSpace North American User Group Meeting is another opportunity for PCG Academia to share the experience it has gained while working with academic institutions around the world and to discuss the future of digital repositories and open science.
