A permanent element of the LUMEN Conference for several years now has been the formal Awards Gala for Polish universities classified in the THE World University Rankings – one of the most recognizable and prestigious university rankings. The Gala is one of the areas of cooperation between PCG Academia and the creators of the ranking: Times Higher Education.

In this year’s THE World University Rankings 2026, 45 universities from Poland were included—one more than in the previous edition. Moreover, the leading Polish universities ranked higher than in previous years, reaching the 501–600 group.

On behalf of the Organizers, we extend our sincere congratulations to all universities distinguished in this year’s Ranking. We hope that our recognition brings you not only satisfaction with your success but also determination to achieve even better results in future THE rankings.

The awards were presented to university representatives by: Rosie Sanniti – Regional Director for Europe at Times Higher Education, Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki – President of the Polish Rectors Foundation, and Prof. Łukasz Sułkowski – President of the Management Board of PCG Polska.
