About the Conference

The historical interiors of Collegium Novum, located at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, will be the arena of the first international conference – ScienceCon 2022, organized jointly by PCG Academia, Elsevier and Times Higher Education.

The conference will be inaugurated by the National Information Processing Institute, which on behalf the Ministry of National Education collects and analyses scientific information. The Institute will present the first statistical summary of the scientific evaluation process of the Polish universities for the period between 2017 and 2021.

We have prepared two discussion panels attended by our distinguished guests, higher education experts from Poland and abroad. The focus of our debate will be on best practices related to professional management of science and building university’s reputation on the international arena, with the use of the latest technology solutions.

The high point of ScienceCon 2022 will be the first, Poland’s based ceremony of awarding the Polish universities participating in THE Impact Rankings – the first international ranking based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations.
