Chairman of the Central Council of Science and Higher Education (2014-17), president of the Polish Rectors Foundation (2002-), director of the Knowledge Society Institute (2003-), chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (1999-2002) and member of the KRASP Presidium (1997-) , Chairman of the Committee for Strategic Problems of Higher Education CRASP (2016-), Leader of the Team “System and management in higher education” in 2017, in the work of the Council of the National Science Congress. Since 2015, member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Section V “Social Sciences, Law and Economics”. Main author, chairman of the team and representative of the President of the Republic of Poland as applicant in parliamentary works on the Law on Higher Education of 2005 as well as the framework legislative educational and scientific policy of the state. Program leader and lecturer in a total of 27 FRP Schools of Strategic Management in higher education for rectors, chancellors and quaestors in the period 2005-2022. Since 2018, Leader of the Polish-Ukrainian MEiN-PW project entitled Polish-Ukrainian cooperation of institutions representative offices representing rectors to improve the operation of universities.
