On behalf of our partner, Blackboard, we cordially invite you to the Blackboard Teaching & Learning Conference EUROPE 2020 (TLC) – an international conference dedicated to the best innovations in technology-enhanced learning. The event will take place on May 18-20th, 2020 at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam.

Blackboard’s Teaching & Learning Conference EUROPE brings together Blackboard experts, high-level education technology specialists, industry leaders, developers, faculty members, and users of teaching and learning technologies. Earlier editions of the conference gathered over 300 participants from more than 100 institutions from 20 countries.

The main theme of the discussions will be supporting students in learning – how to enhance student experience, how to improve learning outcomes or how to bring student engagement to a higher level are just a few of the issues that will be discussed. Another important topic will be data analytics and the use of it outcomes to drive learner success.

During the conference you will have the opportunity to learn about success stories from other universities, discuss educational strategies, exchange knowledge and experience, as well as participate in demonstrations of technology solutions, training sessions, and networking.

TLC EUROPE 2020 is also a great opportunity to present and promote your university in an international group. Share your expertise among your peers and be acknowledged as a thought leader in the industry! Call for Papers is open until February 28th, 2020. For this edition the conference organizers are looking for presentations that fit within the following areas:

  • Fostering Inclusive Education And Accessibility

In addition, the conference will be preceded by hands-on workshops, which will take place on May 18th, 2020. This year Blackboard has planned four pre-conference workshops:

  • Learning & Reporting with Ultra: Mapping course content and student performance to learning outcomes
  • Data, Strategy, Action! Tools and Techniques for Paving Your Road to Inclusion
  • Designing and facilitating online professional development for academics
  • From Information to Impact: How can you make Data work for your institution

Numbers of places in each workshop are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be registered for a session in order to attend.
